We are seeking a detail-oriented, "spreadsheet master" type individual to manage our store's inventory process. We have over 350 SKUs in our store. Ideally, we never run out of product in the store, but we also don't want more than a month's worth of product sitting on our shelves. You'd be the one to ensure this balance. Responsibilities Monitor inventory levels in the store and ensure that our point-of-sale system accurately reflects what we have on hand. Run daily reports that forecast what we should order. Submit orders to our various vendors. Pay invoices for orders. Process deliveries received, entering the new inventory into our point-of-sale system. This job offers flexibility both in terms of when you can work and where you can work. You should expect to work at least 1-2 hours every day (including Saturdays). Much of this work can be done remotely, but you should plan on coming into the store at least every couple of days. From a planning perspective, you should view this job as a 20 hour per week position. Our store is located on the west side of the Twin Cities, near the intersection of 394 & 494 in the Minnetonka/Plymouth area. Ideally, you either live on the west side or you already have responsibilities that place you in that area. The ideal person is incredibly detail-oriented, a quick study, bright, and analytical. Qualifications You need to be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Please do not apply if you don’t consider yourself well-versed and very comfortable with these tools. After an initial interview, you will be given exercises to complete. These will test your capabilities in both Excel and Google Sheets as well as your overall analytical abilities and attention to detail. When you apply, please describe as specifically as you can your capabilities with Excel and Google Sheets, and provide previous experiences that demonstrate your attention to detail and how you are a quick study. Compensation During your training period, you will be paid $20/hour. The length of that training period depends on how long it takes you to learn what you need and demonstrate mastery. Once mastered, your pay increases to $25/hour with additional bonuses based on performance and longevity in the role. #J-18808-Ljbffr Children's Theatre Company
