Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering tests, and crafting tailored care plans
  • Diagnosing as well as managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions autonomously or in partnership with physicians (per credentialing)
  • Guiding patients and families on wellness, prevention, and disease management strategies
  • Prescribing necessary medications and therapies within your practice authority
  • Engaging in patient follow-up and ongoing chronic care management
  • Collaborating across multiple disciplines to ensure integrated, comprehensive healthcare
  • Accurately documenting interactions in electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Licenses and Certifications
  • Current Nurse Practitioner license for Oklahoma
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or relevant specialty designation
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure within 90 days)
