Your Role and Responsibilities - Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering tests, and crafting tailored care plans
- Diagnosing as well as managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions autonomously or in partnership with physicians (per credentialing)
- Guiding patients and families on wellness, prevention, and disease management strategies
- Prescribing necessary medications and therapies within your practice authority
- Engaging in patient follow-up and ongoing chronic care management
- Collaborating across multiple disciplines to ensure integrated, comprehensive healthcare
- Accurately documenting interactions in electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications and Requirements - Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Licenses and Certifications - Current Nurse Practitioner license for Oklahoma
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or relevant specialty designation
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure within 90 days)
