Your Role in Our Vision - Performing thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic procedures, and developing personalized treatment strategies
- Identifying and addressing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in concert with physicians or autonomously (based on credentials)
- Providing education to patients and their families on disease prevention, healthy living, and managing health conditions
- Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments within your scope of practice
- Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care initiatives
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care delivery
- Accurately documenting patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR)
Desired Qualifications - Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or advanced Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications - Active Nurse Practitioner license for the state of Florida
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days)
