Your Responsibilities - Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care plans
- Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues collaboratively with physicians or autonomously based on your certifications
- Providing essential education to patients and families about wellness, prevention strategies, and disease management
- Prescribing medications and therapies in alignment with your professional scope
- Engaging in continuous patient follow-up and managing chronic conditions
- Working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, integrated care delivery
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records within electronic medical systems (EMR)
Qualifications - Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications - Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in Florida
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a similar specialty credential
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire them within 90 days of hire)
