As a Budtender you'll be the welcoming face of Daisy's: you'll educate customers, make personalized product recommendations, ensure every transaction follows state regulations, keep the sales floor stocked and inviting, and contribute to a culture of learning and compassionate service. This is an hourly/frontline role with plenty of day-to-day variety and opportunities to grow as we expand our product portfolio and deepen customer relationships. Salary $16 - $16 USD per hour Required Skills - Must be 21 years of age or older - Eligible to work in the state and pass any required background checks for cannabis industry employment - Valid government-issued ID verification skills and strict attention to compliance with state cannabis regulations - Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills; comfortable educating customers in a friendly, nonjudgmental way - Basic cash-handling and point-of-sale (POS) transaction experience with accurate math skills - Willingness and ability to learn product fundamentals (cannabinoids, terpenes, consumption methods) and communicate them clearly - Ability to stand for extended shifts, bend, reach, and occasionally lift up to 30–40 lbs for stocking - Reliable punctuality and flexibility to work retail schedules (weekends, evenings, holidays as needed) - Detail-oriented approach to inventory tracking, product rotation, and maintaining a clean, safe sales environment Desired Skills - Prior dispensary or cannabis retail experienc preferred but not required. - Formal budtender or state-required cannabis training/certification - Deep knowledge of terpenes, cannabinoid profiles, and product dosing/application - Retail sales, hospitality, or customer-facing sales experience with upsell and cross-sell capability - Experience with inventory management systems and retail POS platforms common to dispensaries - Comfort participating in community outreach or representational events and educational product demos About Daisy's Dispensary Daisy's Dispensary is a small, community-focused cannabis company rooted in care, curiosity, and connection.
