Data Entry Specialist
Parma, OH (Onsite with Free parking)
3 months contract
Shift - Wednesday to Sunday, 10am-6pm
Interview Type: In-person interview

Note: Must have a typing test attached, 45 wpm or better without errors is optimal. Must have experience with 10 key.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform accurate high-speed data entry (15,000 KS per hour) of hardcopy documents into Data Entry Software.
• Validate and correct automated document classification exceptions.
• Validate and correct automated extracted data exceptions (low confidence level).
• Validate and correct automated redacted data exceptions (low confidence level).
• Manually enter meta-data index information from digital documents.
• Analyze digital checks and accompanying documentation to ensure:
  • Proper payee
  • Valid check date
  • Signature present
  • Corrections made per policy, including generating Check Return Letters if necessary
• Validate automatically extracted check CAR/LAR amounts and make corrections.
• Ensure fiscal control of check batches.
• Research and analyze check distributions as required by customer.
• Compare hardcopy documents to digitally converted versions to ensure quality standards.
• Meet deadlines by working quickly and steadily while maintaining error-free work.
• Achieve productivity and accuracy standards set by BSS BPO manager.
• Complete paperwork in a timely, accurate, and legible manner (English required).
• Adapt to changing situations with flexibility.
• Perform repetitive work according to set procedures while maintaining quality and production standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• Familiarity with personal computers required.
• Basic knowledge of ten-key and keyboard skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy standards.
• Ability to work in a team environment and maintain positive, productive relationships with coworkers, other departments, and management.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Medical experience is a plus for this position.
