Furry Land Mobile Grooming exists to make pet care stress-free, safe, and accessible—right at your doorstep. Role Overview

As a Mobile Pet Groomer, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services directly at the client’s doorstep. We’re seeking passionate, reliable professionals who bring both skill and heart to their craft. Our groomers represent our brand in every interaction, making trust and professionalism essential.

Responsibilities

· Perform bathing, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and breed-specific haircuts!

· Maintain safety, cleanliness, and comfort standards for each pet

· Communicate clearly with pet parents to review desired services and pet behavior notes

· Drive the grooming van safely and responsibly to appointments

· Keep equipment clean and well-maintained

Qualifications

· 2-years professional grooming experience (mobile or salon preferred)

· Confidence handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments

· Ability to work independently while representing our team values

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

· Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented

We strive to provide fair and competitive pay. Pay is a combination of commission, tips, additional incentives and paid hours spent training or marketing.

What You’ll Do:

Perform full-service grooming: bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, de-matting, de-shedding, nail trims, ear cleaning, sanitary trims, and finishing touches.
Groom to breed standards and owner preferences, with attention to safety, quality, and detail.
Use low-stress handling techniques to create a calm, safe experience for pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments.
Communicate clearly with pet owners before and after each appointment about coat condition, behavior, health concerns, and at-home care.
Keep your grooming van clean, organized, and well-stocked with proper daily sanitization and tool care.
Manage your schedule and pace efficiently, ensuring quality without rushing.
Safely drive and operate the grooming van, navigating client homes and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and company standards.
What We’re Looking For:

At least 1 year of professional grooming experience
Strong knowledge of breed-specific techniques and coat care
Comfort handling pets of all sizes and temperaments, including senior and anxious dogs
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and manage physical tasks
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
Self-motivated, dependable, and organized
References and grooming portfolio available upon request
Grooming certification preferred but not required
Experience in animal care (vet, kennel, daycare) is a plus
