Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Sales Director, Events is responsible for driving group, corporate, and event revenue for one or more Rise Brands locations within a designated market. This role owns the local sales pipeline, manages key corporate and repeat accounts, and ensures seamless execution of booked business in partnership with on‑site Operations teams. This position balances hands‑on selling with relationship management and coordination, serving as the primary point of contact for larger or higher‑value event clients. The ideal candidate is commercially driven, guest‑focused, and energized by converting interest into memorable, on‑brand experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Sales & Revenue Ownership Own and execute the events and group sales strategy for one location or a small group of locations. Drive revenue through corporate events, buyouts, team outings, celebrations, and brand activations. Manage a personal book of business while actively prospecting new local and regional accounts. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals, conversion targets, and revenue KPIs. Corporate & Key Account Management Serve as the primary relationship manager for corporate, agency, and repeat clients within the market. Handle larger, more complex, or high‑value event inquiries and negotiations. Identify opportunities to grow accounts through repeat bookings, upsells, and multi‑visit agreements. Partner with the Sales Director on enterprise accounts when applicable. Sales Execution & Guest Experience Lead the full sales lifecycle: inbound inquiry response, proposal development, site tours, contract execution, and post‑event follow‑up. Collaborate closely with Operations and venue leadership to ensure events are executed accurately and profitably. Act as the escalation point for event‑related guest issues, ensuring strong client satisfaction and retention. Maintain accurate event details, pricing, and communication to ensure a seamless guest experience. Sales Operations & CRM Management Manage and maintain accurate CRM records, including pipeline activity, forecasting, and client communications. Track performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve conversion and revenue per event. Follow established sales processes, pricing guidelines, and brand standards. Local Partnerships & Market Presence Build relationships with local businesses, planners, and community organizations to drive new leads. Support local marketing efforts, networking events, and on‑site activations that generate sales opportunities. Represent Rise Brands as a local brand ambassador in the community.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field preferred. 3–5+ years of sales experience, preferably in hospitality, entertainment, events, or experiential venues. Proven ability to close business and manage corporate or group accounts. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Highly organized with strong follow‑through and attention to detail. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment with multiple priorities. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with venue leadership and cross‑functional partners. Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting. Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed to support events. Ability to travel locally or regionally between assigned locations. Founded on the idea of creating a social gathering place that connects people through a un‑traditional/playful experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Workstream
