Job Overview Flyer Distributor at Beth Israel Lahey Health located in Boston, MA, reports to the Mind Body Research Group. The role involves safely operating a vehicle to distribute flyers across the greater Boston area, monitoring and logging posted flyers, and maintaining communication with the research marketing team. CDL license not required. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Distribute flyers around the greater Boston area Document posted flyer locations in a spreadsheet Adhere to all state and federal motor carrier guidelines, including DOT safety regulations Comply with all Department and Medical Center policies and procedures Required Qualifications High School diploma Valid driver's license Registered motor vehicle Basic familiarity with computers; ability to navigate web‑based applications Competencies Decision Making: Ability to make decisions based on specific instructions, standard practices and established procedures with little or no supervision. Problem Solving: Ability to handle routine, somewhat repetitive problems and identify opportunities for process improvements. Independence of Action: Follow general instructions and procedures as provided. Work monitored by supervisor/manager. Written Communications: Communicate clearly and effectively in written English with internal and external customers. Oral Communications: Comprehend and converse in English to communicate effectively with medical center staff, patients, families and external customers. Knowledge: Demonstrate full working knowledge of standard concepts, practices, procedures and policies. Team Work: Interact respectfully with employees, professional staff and external contacts to offer ideas, identify issues, obtain information or deliver services. Customer Service: Demonstrate a positive attitude and respond to requests in a timely and respectful manner. Pay Range $18.00 - $24.04 per hour. Additional compensation may apply based on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other factors as permitted by law.
