Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic
Duties include monitoring engine disassembly operations, transmission disassembly, repairs and adjustments to power and mechanical steering systems, removal and repairs of bearings and other components, diagnostics and repairs of electrical systems, development of quality management plans, oversight of maintenance contracts, and quality inspections.
Conditions of employment include a suitability determination, pre-appointment and annual physicals, valid state driver's license, financial disclosure statement, and a one-year probationary period.

Minimum qualifications include the ability to perform the work of an Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic without more than normal supervision, ability to interpret instructions, use and maintain tools and equipment, knowledge of equipment assembly, installation, repair, technical practices, troubleshooting, and use of measuring instruments.
