About the Role

M.G. Suber & Associates, LLC (MGS, LLC) is seeking an International Trade Compliance professional to support export/import compliance activities across a diverse client base. This role is primarily focused on licensing and regulatory execution, with an initial emphasis on compliance audits and assessments, and ongoing advisory support.

This is a hands-on, on-site role ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, execution-focused, and comfortable working directly with regulatory requirements and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support classification and commodity jurisdiction determinations
  • Conduct initial compliance audits, assessments, and gap analyses
  • Maintain and organize required compliance documentation and records
  • Provide guidance on export/import regulatory requirements

  • Assist with development and implementation of compliance procedures
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients on trade compliance matters
  • Travel up to 10–20% as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with export licensing and regulatory documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting or conducting compliance audits
  • Experience in a client-facing or consulting environment
  • Familiarity with trade compliance systems (e.g., SAP GTS or similar)
  • Spanish language skills (professional or conversational) are a plus

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong execution mindset (this role is licensing-heavy, not just policy)
  • Ability to manage detailed regulatory work with accuracy and consistency
  • Comfortable balancing audit, licensing, and advisory responsibilities
  • Reliable, accountable, and able to work on-site consistently

Why Join MGS, LLC

  • Opportunity to work across multiple industries and compliance scenarios
  • Hands-on experience with licensing, audits, and advisory work
  • Collaborative team environment with direct impact on client outcomes
