Jamul Casino is San Diego's newest, closest, and most genuinely entertaining casino. Since its opening in October of 2016, Jamul Casino has been growing tremendously. It offers seven diverse restaurants, over 1600 of the latest slot games, 50 table games, a Poker Room, award-winning steakhouse, live entertainment, event space, and stunning back country views. Additionally, we are about to introduce a brand-new luxury hotel offering 200 rooms that also includes full-service spa and salon along with a rooftop pool deck all opening in the early part of 2025.

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

Beverage Service Excellence:

1. Greeting guests promptly with a warm, professional demeanor.
2. Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, to the highest quality and presentation standards.
3. Engage with guests to provide recommendations tailored to their preferences.

Guest Experience:

1. Anticipate guest needs, providing a personalized and memorable experience.
2. Uphold AAA four diamond service standards, ensuring all interactions are courteous, polished, and attentive.
3. Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.

Bar Operations:

1. Maintain an immaculate and organized bar area, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards.
2. Monitor inventory levels, restocking as necessary, and communicate shortages to management.
3. Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.

Mixology Expertise:

1. Demonstrate expert knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, and beer, including preparation techniques and pairings.
2. Create specialty cocktails and assist with menu development to align with the hotel's luxury brand.
3. Stay informed on industry trends and incorporate innovative elements into the bar program.

AAA Four Diamond Standards:

1. Consistently maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
2. Deliver polished, seamless service that reflects the luxury and sophistication of the property.
3. Exhibit impeccable attention to detail in every aspect of service, from drink presentation to guest interaction.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

1. Work closely with servers, barbacks, and management to ensure smooth operations.
2. Assist with special events, private functions, and promotional activities.
3. Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and sharing expertise.

• 1+ year of experience as a Mixologist or related
• Flexible working all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

Team members must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

• Ability to earn and maintain Gaming License.
• Ability to earn and maintain TiPS certification
• Ability to earn and maintain Food Handlers certification
• Ability to earn and maintain RBS Certification within 30 days of employment.
