As the Managing Director for Türkiye, you will be instrumental in delivering our innovative Animal Health product offering and technology solutions to customers across a very dynamic yet challenging market.

This executive position presents an exceptional opportunity to lead a high-achieving team, advance commercial objectives, and cultivate effective partnerships, while actively shaping the external operating environment. The role reports directly to the VP of EEMEA, Animal Health, and involves active participation as a member of the EEMEA RLT. Responsibilities include direct oversight of commercial strategy, financial performance, and operational excellence. The incumbent will assume ownership of the countries P&L, strategic direction, portfolio lifecycle, and organizational health, ensuring that global and regional goals are translated into concrete, market-specific outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Own annual operating budgets, sales forecasts and profit plans for Türkiye; validate assumptions, set challenging but realistic targets, and present the plan to EEMEA/EURAM leadership. Accountable for all P&L levers and financial impact of strategic decisions.
  • Develop and execute a 3–5 year strategic roadmap to grow and diversify the business. Define initiatives, allocate resources, set KPIs and governance, and lead quarterly reviews.
  • Lead competitive intelligence and market analysis to shape strategy and anticipate competitor moves; act as the primary market intelligence source for EEMEA leadership.
  • Coach and align country leadership teams: drive cross-border collaboration, run field visits and regional meetings, and implement coaching and incentive frameworks to build capability and a shared-success culture.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with key customers, distributors, opinion leaders and authorities to secure strategic partnerships and influence market practices.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies and regulations; promote ethical behavior, anti-corruption standards, pharmacovigilance and a speak‑up culture.

Qualifications Required

  • Expertise in Profit and Loss (P&L) management and financial planning
  • Exceptional execution and strategic planning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and drive results
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • High emotional intelligence.
  • Language Skills: English fluency required; Turkish preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in fields such as Veterinary, Pharmacy, Medicine, Engineering, Economics, BA, or Finance. Advanced degrees (MA, MBA, MD) preferred.
  • Travel: Around 20–40% - variable depending on business needs.
