Job Description

We are currently seeking a Test Engineer to join our SLT Manufacturing Team. NVIDIA is the world leader in GPU computing, artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, computer gaming, and autonomous technologies. Our Operations team is looking for a dedicated individual to support the System Level Testing manufacturing team and facilitate diverse manufacturing activities. We play a crucial role in testing the GPUs and SoCs shipped to customers worldwide. We look forward to your innovative ideas and creativity to tackle daily challenges and develop advanced testing solutions. What You’ll Be Doing: Work in a dynamic manufacturing environment to run, maintain, and optimize production SLT test stations, ensuring readiness for high‑volume testing through effective setup, tuning, and preventative maintenance. Lead the development, maintenance, and upgrade of tester and cooling solutions, and establish robust processes for tracking system health, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional engineering teams on defining test requirements, system integration, including test programs, automation control, and test hardware, to ensure compatibility with high‑volume production requirements. Debug SLT test stations and perform system‑level and silicon‑level failure analysis to quickly identify root causes and drive corrective actions. Develop scripts and tools to support test automation, data collection, and test equipment performance analysis. Design and execute DOE studies to resolve engineering issues in the production environment and improve yield, stability, and throughput. Build and maintain process documentation and work instructions, and drive knowledge transfer from NPI into mass production teams to ensure smooth scaling and repeatability. What we need to see: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. 5+ years of proven experience in a semiconductor testing and/or electronic manufacturing environment. Strong capability in test automation, including automated test flows, scripting, and infrastructure to support high‑volume production testing. Strong expertise in active thermal control for semiconductor testing applications. Solid programming background, including Python, Linux shell scripting, and C#. Hands‑on mechanical knowledge related to test equipment assembly, with the ability to read and work from engineering drawings. Proficiency in test data analysis and the use of statistical tools to drive continuous improvement. Ways to stand out from the crowd: Strong hands‑on experience in solving complex engineering issues, with a willingness to engage directly in practical, lab‑based tasks. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic production environment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as an essential teammate and technical domain expert. Demonstrated capability to introduce and apply automation and AI in manufacturing tasks and test workflows to improve efficiency. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 132,000 USD - 207,000 USD. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Applications for this job will be accepted at least until May 25, 2026. This posting is for an existing vacancy. NVIDIA uses AI tools in its recruiting processes. NVIDIA is committed to fostering a diverse work environment and proud to be an equal opportunity employer. As we highly value diversity in our current and future employees, we do not discriminate (including in our hiring and promotion practices) on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability status or any other characteristic protected by law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
