Job Description

Join a fast-paced team at an area hospital in Philadelphia, PA where your expertise as a Radiation Therapist will directly impact lives. From administering targeted treatments to collaborating with oncology professionals, you will play a vital role in helping patients fight cancer with confidence and compassion.

What You'll Need:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program

• ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy

• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Radiation Therapist

• Experience with proton therapy and/or CT/SIMS is a plus (preferred)

• Ability to train on and work with a specific treatment machine while paired with an experienced Radiation Therapist

• Ability to report to multiple hospital locations within the health system as needed (floating between sites)

Additional Duties:

• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment

• Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment

• Verify treatment plans and dosage with the oncology team

• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy

• Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records

Minimum Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.

• ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy.

• Valid state Radiation Therapy license if required by Pennsylvania.

• At least 2 years’ experience in Radiation Therapy; experience with proton therapy and CT/SIMS preferred.

• Willingness to train on one machine and work under initial supervision by an experienced Radiation Therapist.

• Ability to travel and report to multiple hospital locations within the system as required (float to other hospital sites).

Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Hospital.
  • Shift name: Days.
  • Shift details: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30.
  • Schedule notes: 8-hour shifts within an operational window of early starts to early evenings; candidate must be able to work within 6:00–18:00 as needed.
  • Duration: 13-week contract with potential for extensions and possible temp-to-perm.
