Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available in the Orlando, FL area for the upcoming school year. Blazer Jobs is partnering with local school districts to hire a motivated and reliable SLPA who is passionate about supporting students with speech and language needs in an educational setting.

About the Role:
This position involves working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct therapy services to students. The SLPA will assist with implementing treatment plans, collecting data, and supporting students across a variety of communication disorders. This is a collaborative role within a multidisciplinary team focused on student progress and success.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active Florida SLPA license issued by the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
  • Compliance with Florida Department of Education requirements, if applicable
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Job Duties:

  • Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of an SLP
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
  • Collect and document student data and progress
  • Assist with screenings and assessments as directed
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state guidelines
