Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a school setting in Franklin, TN. This contract role focuses on delivering essential speech therapy services that contribute to the communication development and academic success of children with speech and language needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists with the implementation of therapy plans
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students under supervision
  • Monitor student progress and document outcomes according to program guidelines
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student communication goals
  • Maintain compliance with school policies and confidentiality requirements
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
  • Valid SLPA certification or license as required by state regulations
  • Experience working in school-based speech therapy preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
