Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Details:

  • Schedule/Hours:
    • Multiple orientation dates throughout the year: May – December (every few weeks, allowing for flexibility)

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license with eligibility to practice in North Carolina
  • Strong ER experience with a proven ability to work in fast-paced, high-acuity settings
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (Additional certifications preferred)
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
  • Must reside 60 miles or more from Oxford to qualify as a travel candidate

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to diverse patient populations in a dynamic Emergency Department
  • Triage, assess, and initiate treatment plans for patients with urgent and emergent needs
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes and safety
  • Document and report on patient status clearly and accurately
  • Demonstrate adaptability in shifting priorities and responding to evolving emergencies
