Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Sanitation Worker for the Night Shift to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall maintenance of our warehouse facilities. This role is essential in maintaining a hygienic environment that supports efficient operations and complies with safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong custodial skills, experience in industrial or commercial cleaning, and a proactive attitude towards facilities maintenance. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-organized, safe, and clean working environment during overnight hours.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of warehouse floors, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing to maintain optimal cleanliness and safety standards.
• Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing work areas.
• Utilize industrial cleaning equipment and techniques to manage spills, stains, and debris effectively.
• Assist with floor care procedures including polishing and buffing to preserve the integrity of warehouse surfaces.
• Support facilities maintenance activities by identifying minor repairs or hazards and reporting them promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, and employee break zones to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or injuries.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, polishing, and stripping.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment including buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
• Experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles is advantageous.
• Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, and performing repetitive cleaning tasks. This position is integral to maintaining a safe and productive warehouse environment. We welcome candidates committed to high standards of cleanliness and operational excellence.
