Several new Assistant Principal opportunities are available for the upcoming academic year through our FY27 Budget. To streamline the recruitment process, we have implemented a consolidated, pooled application. Selection & Interview Process:
Review: Members of the Department of School Leadership will collaborate with Principals to review all applications and notify the Department of Human Resources and Talent Development (HRTD) of the candidates selected for interview opportunities. Interviews: If you are selected for an interview, you will be notified. Depending on your location selections, you may be invited to participate in a panel interview with multiple principals. Additional Vacancies: If more vacancies arise, the school's name will be added to the selection list, and the posting will be refreshed. Applicants must login to their SchoolSpring account and update location preferences to be considered for the additional schools added to the list. The Assistant Principal provides assistance to the school Principal as requested in the total school program.

Bachelor's Degree
Experience as a teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal, or equivalent administrative experience
Holds or is eligible for the Postgraduate Professional License with an endorsement in Administration and Supervision PreK-12
