Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a hands-on approach to support and enhance our cloud infrastructure, focusing on the implementation and maintenance of scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-native and hybrid environments. The Cloud DevOps Engineer will work closely with architects and developers to deploy, manage, and optimize our cloud solutions, ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities: - Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions using Kubernetes, including the setup, configuration, and management of clusters to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and efficient disaster recovery.
- Develop and manage Helm charts for application deployment, focusing on automating deployment processes and managing application lifecycles across environments.
- Support the integration of hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, utilizing tools like Google Cloud's Anthos for seamless integration and optimal security configurations.
- Manage and secure Harbor Container Registry, ensuring efficient container image storage and distribution within the organization.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and Salt, aiming for streamlined deployment workflows and consistent environments.
- Implement and maintain observability tools, such as OpenTelemetry, to monitor, log, and trace cloud-native applications, ensuring quick issue detection and resolution.
- Assist in the development of self-service portals for infrastructure provisioning, enabling teams to quickly access the resources they need while adhering to compliance and governance standards.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver robust cloud solutions, providing technical support and insights.
- Promote and apply best practices for cloud infrastructure management, aiming for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Participate in technical evaluations and research initiatives to stay ahead of the curve in cloud technologies and tools.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure automation and containerization technologies
- Solid experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration, including hands-on experience in cluster management and Helm chart development.
- Experience with Google Cloud's Anthos and other hybrid/multi-cloud management tools.
- Familiarity with Harbor Container Registry and best practices for container security and management.
- Strong skills in infrastructure automation and configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, and Salt.
- Proficiency in implementing observability frameworks with tools like OpenTelemetry.
- Practical experience in developing and managing infrastructure provisioning portals.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Nice to Have: - Professional certifications in Kubernetes (CKA, CKAD, CKS), Google Cloud, or other relevant cloud platforms.
- Experience with multiple cloud platforms, including GCP, AWS, and Azure.
- A background in cloud security and familiarity with compliance frameworks.
