We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Litigation Attorney to join our legal team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex construction disputes involving contractors, subcontractors, developers, property owners, and design professionals. This role requires strong litigation skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage cases through all phases of litigation. Key Responsibilities Handle construction litigation matters from pre-suit investigation through trial or resolution. Represent clients in disputes involving construction defects, contract claims, delays, payment disputes, mechanic’s liens, and related commercial litigation matters. Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and legal memoranda. Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and court appearances. Analyze construction contracts and provide risk assessment and legal strategy recommendations. Coordinate with clients, expert witnesses, consultants, and opposing counsel throughout litigation. Perform legal research and maintain compliance with applicable state and federal laws. Manage deadlines, case strategy, and client communication effectively. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active license and good standing with the North Carolina State Bar. Admission to the South Carolina Bar is a plus. 3+ years of experience in construction litigation, commercial litigation, or related practice areas preferred. Strong written, analytical, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills. Experience handling complex litigation matters independently. Familiarity with construction industry practices, contracts, and dispute resolution processes preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
