Medical Assistant – Orthopedic Specialty | No Experience? We'll Train You! Rome Health | Rome, NY

Interested in sports injuries, joint care, and helping patients get back on their feet? Join the orthopedic team at Rome Health and play a hands-on role in helping patients recover, heal, and regain mobility. No orthopedic experience? No problem-we'll train you!

What You'll Do

• Room patients and prepare them for orthopedic exams and procedures
• Assist providers with joint injections, splinting, casting, and minor procedures
• Perform clinical tasks like EKGs and blood draws as needed
• Remove sutures/staples and assist with wound care (within scope)
• Prepare and clean exam rooms and specialty equipment
• Keep detailed, accurate patient records
• Review charts ahead of visits to support efficient patient flow

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• BLS certification (preferred)
• Interest in orthopedics, sports medicine, or rehabilitation
• Healthcare experience is a plus-but not required
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn
