Primary Vascular Care is currently seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as Patient Escorts.

Primary Vascular Care is a specialized vascular group dedicated exclusively to serving the long-term care space. We bring a clinic-like experience-providing advanced vascular care-directly into nursing homes.

  • From routine vascular assessments to advanced procedures, our team ensures comprehensive, high-quality care for all our patients.
Job Overview:

As a Patient Escort, you will be responsible for transporting patients from a Nursing home to our facility, ensuring safe and comfortable movement between various locations. You will play a vital role in facilitating patient care, particularly for those who require assistance with mobility or experience anxiety about their transportation.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Transporting Patients: Safely move patients using wheelchairs, stretchers, or by assisting them to walk.
  • Providing Comfort and Support: Offer reassurance and a friendly presence to patients who may feel anxious or uncomfortable.
  • Assisting with Transfers: Help patients transition between beds, wheelchairs, and other medical equipment.
  • Maintaining Patient Safety: Ensure a secure and comfortable environment during transport.
  • Communicating with Patients and Staff: Provide updates on the patient's condition and needs to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Following Instructions: Adhere to protocols and procedures related to patient care and transportation.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
  • Ability to assist patients with mobility challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to follow safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Must have reliable personal transportation (own vehicle required)
