Job Description

We are seeking a Radiologist who can provide consistent in-person coverage to support the essential onsite clinical services required within the Radiology Department. This includes performing Fluoroscopy, MSK injections, Diagnostic Mammography, and other procedures that necessitate a physical presence to ensure high-quality patient care and continuity of service.

Are you a skilled radiologist seeking a vibrant community to practice in? Join our dynamic team in Albuquerque, NM, where the sun shines 310 days a year! The department of Veteran Affairs is seeking a full-time radiologist with an interest in providing care for our veterans.

NMVAHCS is seeking a fellowship trained Abdominal (CT/MRI/US) and nonvascular interventional radiology radiologist perform General Fluoroscopy exams and to interpret full range of general diagnostic imaging modality exams to include MRI, CT, Ultrasound, plain film. The incumbent will be responsible for supervision and interpretation of abdominal and cardiothoracic imaging. Specific job duties include direct patient care, supervision of technologists, and the supervision of Radiology trainees. Teaching and coordination of the educational program for trainees is also a core component of the job duties. The incumbent will serve as a radiologist and will be responsible for oversight of service protocols, oversight/supervisor of technologists and service practices, and interdisciplinary communication and interaction with Clinical Services to achieve Best Practice standards and patient care. The incumbent will facilitate, implement, and promote research, quality improvement activities, resources utilization of imaging resources in the cardiothoracic and abdominal sections.
