Success Academy Charter Schools, Inc. is seeking passionate and results-driven High School Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year to join our Education, Training & E-Learning team within our high-performing public charter network in New York City. As a High School Teacher, you will play a central role in delivering rigorous, standards-aligned instruction that prepares scholars for college, career, and life. You will design and implement engaging lessons that push students to think critically, solve complex problems, and develop strong academic habits, while maintaining a structured, joyful, and intellectually curious classroom culture. Leveraging Success Academy’s innovative curriculum and top-tier instructional standards, you will use data frequently to monitor student learning, differentiate instruction, and provide targeted support and enrichment so that every scholar can meet and exceed ambitious goals. In this role, you will collaborate closely with school leaders, fellow teachers, and support staff in an environment that prizes continuous improvement, feedback, and professional growth. You will participate in regular observations, coaching, and professional development sessions to refine your practice and stay at the forefront of evidence-based teaching methods and educational technology. You will communicate consistently with families, sharing academic progress, setting high expectations, and partnering with parents and guardians to ensure students are fully supported both in and out of the classroom. You will contribute to grade-level and departmental planning, align assessments and instructional strategies with school-wide goals, and help build a culture of excellence where student achievement is celebrated. High School Teachers at Success Academy are expected to uphold uncompromising standards for behavior, academic effort, and character, modeling professional conduct and a growth mindset at all times. You will manage classroom routines efficiently, use clear and measurable objectives for every lesson, and provide timely, actionable feedback on student work. You may also lead or support extracurricular activities, tutoring, or enrichment opportunities that extend learning beyond the school day and help students explore their interests and talents. This position is ideal for educators who are excited to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, embrace accountability for student results, and are eager to innovate within a structured, supportive school model. Qualified candidates typically hold at least a bachelor’s degree, bring strong content knowledge in their subject area, and demonstrate prior success working with adolescents, preferably in an urban or high-expectations school setting. New and early-career teachers who are coachable, data-oriented, and deeply committed to student success are encouraged to apply. Success Academy offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and robust pathways for professional advancement, providing teachers with the opportunity to grow into instructional leaders and help shape the future of world-class public education in New York City.
