Your Responsibilities - Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, and creating personalized treatment plans
- Identifying and managing acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses through collaboration with physicians or independently, depending on your credentials
- Providing education to patients and families on wellness, prevention, and disease management strategies
- Prescribing necessary medications and therapies as permitted within your practice scope
- Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care management strategies

- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications - Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Licenses and Certifications - Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Massachusetts
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within a 90-day period)
